Openwork is looking for entry level welders for a local  company in Spartanburg that has been in business since 1951 servicing the Upstate and North Carolina.  They are a leader in their industry including paint shop. This is a great company to start your career with as a welder. 

Work Schedule: 7:00am-5:00pm Monday-Thursday & 7:00am-3:00pm on Friday 

Pay Information: $15+ depending on experience  

Job duties include: 

Assembly pumping equipment in fuel tanks - mount pumps, meters, and reels 

Lay out systems and configure units 

Aluminum welding 

Integrate and install pneumatic controls 

Integrate controls with chassis 

Install hydraulic systems for pumping fuel 

Should include the following skills: 

Basic understanding of tools 

Read a tape measure accurately 

Work with hands 

Climb ladders 

Quick learner 

Self-motivated 

Follow directions 

Lift 25 pounds
