Press Brake Operator for Second Shift

Openwork is currently engaged in a search to find a Second Shift Press Brake Operator in Georgetown, TX.  In this temporary-to-hire role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a Press Brake machine to form complex metal parts for assembly of the final product. What you’ll be responsible for:

• Setup and operating the forming press, including loading parts
• Inpsect parts and resolve quality and mechanical problems
• Maintaining the machines and tooling
• Working from blueprints and engineering drawings
• Operating a forklift for loading and unloading of materials

What you’ll need:

• High School or equivalent education preferred 
• Ability to read and understand blueprints
• Capable of setting up machinery to engineering specs
• Capable of operating a forklift
• Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed
