Openwork is looking for a  Plastic Injection Maintenance Technician for a plastic manufacturing company located in Greer.

Shift: 7:00am-3:00pm, Monday-Friday
Pay: $19.00

Job Description and Responsibilities and duties:
Hands-on plastic injection maintenance technician 

• Duties include: Diagnose and troubleshoot molding and production related machinery, diagnose malfunctions and repair of equipment, keep down-time to a minimum and optimize efficiency, 

• perform preventive maintenance on equipment, maintain PM records, help supervisor with other duties as needed.

• Collaborates with Production Manager to ensure efficiency in repairs and maintenance. 

• Follows safety regulations.

• Maintains clean work environment 

• Responsible for organizing and maintaining tools in proper order and condition. 

• Responsible for preventive and repair maintenance on hydraulic, electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.

Qualifications and skills:

• Experience with hydraulic, electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.
• Able to diagnose, trouble-shoot, repair, and maintain plastic injection molding machines and other equipment, such as air compressors, chillers, granulators, and others.
• Uses problem solving and critical thinking.
• Able to work in a fast paced environment.
• Able to continuously use hands, arms and legs, and ability to move the whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping and handling materials.
• Able to stand for 8 to 10 hours, and to lift and maneuvering up to 50 lbs. repeatedly without physical restrictions.
• Able and willing to follow directions and to work independently .
• Has good verbal communication skills and ability to keep record of materials worked.
• Has positive attitude and ability to work well with others.
