Now Hiring: Pipefitter – Skilled Trades Career Opportunity | Northeast Houston

Ready to take your skills to the next level? Openwork is hiring an experienced Pipefitter for a leading manufacturing company in Northeast Houston. We’re looking for someone who takes pride in doing things right — every cut, weld, and measurement matters here.

If you’re dependable, detail-oriented, and ready to join a team that values hard work and craftsmanship, we want to meet you!

What You’ll Do

  • Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications with precision.

  • Lay out, cut, fit, and weld pipes and structural components to exact standards.

  • Perform tack welding using MIG techniques for strong, accurate joints.

  • Use layout tools such as squares and levels to ensure proper fit and tolerances.

  • Inspect, maintain, and repair piping systems to guarantee safety and performance.

What We’re Looking For

  • At least 1 year of pipefitting experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.

  • Solid understanding of technical drawings and weld symbols.

  • Skilled in cutting, threading, and welding pipes to specification.

  • Dependable, with great attendance and reliable transportation.

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.

  • Dedicated to safety, quality, and doing the job right.

  • Must have your own tools.

Pay & Schedule

  • Pay: $20.00 per hour

  • Hours: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 5:00 PM

  • Occasional Saturdays: 6:00 AM – 12:00 PM
