PART-TIME GENERAL CLERK (TEMPORARY)

Openwork is currently assisting the Harris County Tax office in their search to fill Part-Time General Clerk jobs in various locations throughout Harris County.

Schedule:  Up to 30 Hours work week; Flexible / Monday-Friday / Day Shift Only 

As a Part-Time General Clerk you will be responsible for providing friendly, high level of professionalism and efficient customer service. 

Responsibilities for this Part-Time General Clerk job include:

• As a Part-Time General Clerk you will be responsible for providing friendly, efficient, and timely customer service to commercial clients
• Review vehicle title paperwork for accuracy and entry into the computer system
• Handle and balance automobile transactions for commercial clients
• Submit daily close-out and balancing reports
• Maintaining a professional appearance and providing a positive company image to the public
• Other duties as required     

Qualifications:

• A minimum of  6 months of employment experience that included cash handling and working directly with clients or customers
• Excellent communication skills and submit to on-site skills testing
• Must be able to type 30 WPM
• Data Entry 5KPH
• High school diploma from an accredited institution or GED equivalent
