Openwork is seeking experienced Extrusion Machine Operators in Salisbury, NC to join a growing manufacturing team producing composite boards used in construction and building materials. This role is ideal for candidates with prior machine operating experience who are looking for competitive pay, structured training, and long-term career growth in manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate extrusion machinery used in the manufacturing of composite boards

• Monitor machine performance to ensure safe, efficient, and consistent operation

• Perform quality inspections to ensure products meet specifications

• Load raw materials and remove finished products from equipment

• Troubleshoot minor machine issues and escalate concerns as needed

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

• Follow all safety, quality, and production standards

• Communicate equipment or production issues to leadership

Schedule Details

• Production Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

• Training Period: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM

• Training will be completed prior to moving into the production schedule

Qualifications

• Previous machine operator experience required

• Extrusion experience is a strong plus

• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed

• Strong attention to detail and focus on safety

• Dependable attendance and willingness to work assigned shifts
