CNC Programmer (2ND SHIFT) 

Meador, an Openwork Company, is currently engaged in a search to find a highly experienced and detail-oriented CNC Programmer in the Houston, TX area. In this high-performing role, you will be responsible for advanced CNC programming, machine setup support, process optimization, and working closely with production teams to ensure precision and efficiency. In a CNC Programmer role, you’ll be responsible for:

• Programming CNC Mills & Lathes (HAAS preferred) using Mastercam or GibbsCAM
• Developing programs from blueprints, prints, and 3D models
• Supporting and optimizing complete machine set-ups and tooling processes
• Machining and inspecting rotating parts, split parts, and bearings
• Troubleshooting machining issues and adjusting feeds, speeds, and parameters
• Collaborating with machinists, engineering, and production teams to meet deadlines
• Performing and supporting quality checks using calipers, gauges, and micrometers
• Ensuring best practices for safety, cleanliness, and efficiency on the shop floor

What you’ll need:

• 10+ years of CNC programming experience
• Advanced experience with Mastercam or GibbsCAM
• Strong background in rotating machinery, bearings, and complex part geometry
• Proven experience with full set-ups and multi-axis machining
• Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and technical models
• Strong problem-solving and process-improvement skills
