Openwork is currently assisting a local client in search to fill a Case Manager (Temporary) position in the Northeast area of Houston (77093) for immediate hire. The Case Manager assist clients with a range of concerns including, but not limited to, financial assistance, location of shelter or housing, job preparedness, etc. Interviews and determines nature and degree of problems through the completion of comprehensive assessments. Secures information such as medical and social factors that contribute to the client's situation. Apply today if you meet the qualifications listed below.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Working directly with the homeless
• Counsels the homeless requiring assistance with personal and family adjustments, finances, employment, food, clothing, housing and physical/mental impairments.
• 60% field work: shelters, homeless encampments 
• Compiles records and prepares reports in compliance with all funding sources.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Required Bachelors of Criminal Justice, Sociology, Social Services, Human Services, or related field from an accredited college or university.
• Must have their own transportation with insurance -mileage reimbursement
• Must be computer savvy and proficient in Microsoft Office
