ACCOUNTANT

Openwork is currently engaged in a search to find a detail-oriented and driven Accountant in Pearland Area. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting core accounting functions, utilizing your proven skills to manage financial duties, and joining a growing finance team. In an Accountant job you’ll be responsible for:

• Supporting day-to-day accounting operations, including financial records and general ledger accounts.

• Assisting with month-end and year-end closing processes and reconciliations.

• Reviewing financial data to ensure accuracy, compliance, and proper documentation.

• Collaborating with the team on financial reporting and analysis.

What you’ll need:

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Proven accounting abilities and a foundational understanding of GAAP.

• Entry-to-mid-level experience, making this ideal for an ambitious professional looking to grow.

• Proficiency in MS Excel and exposure to accounting software/ERP systems.

Schedule & Compensation:

• Pay: Full-time position with an annual salary of $65,000 - $80,000 (DOE).

• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8AM-5PM, Fully On-Site
