Evins Group is currently assisting a local client in their search to fill an Academic Coach Engagement Worker position throughout Houston and the greater Houston area.  As an Engagement Worker you will be responsible for monitoring the tutoring sites and provide support to the tutors (academic coaches) and assist in enrolling youth in foster care into the academic coaching program..  Apply Now if you meet the qualifications listed below!

Responsibilities for this Academic Coach Engagement Worker job include:

  • Make frequent visits to sites where Academic Coaching is taking place
  • Ensure records are kept current and up to date
  • Ensure each site has needed supplies
  • Work with tutors to provide supplemental materials as needed
  • Troubleshoot issues that arise
  • Be available for meetings, staffings, and trainings as needed. Some Saturday hours anticipated 

Qualifications:

  •  Bachelor’s degree
  •  Reliable transportation
  • Must pass background check and drug screening
  • Some previous tutoring experience

This is a great and meaningful part-time position requiring approximately 30 hours a week with a pay rate of $20/hr. The Academic Coach Engagement Worker will also be trained in he Academic Tutoring program created by Staying Ahead of the Game, LLC and be required to sign a proprietary agreement with the program.
