Openwork is currently engaged in a search to find a dedicated and experienced Night Lead in Jackson, GA. In this hands-on and rewarding role, you will be responsible for leading a production team, ensuring safe and efficient operations, and maintaining quality standards at a busy tire recycling facility. In a Night Lead job you’ll be responsible for:
Overseeing nightly plant operations, including production, safety, and quality control
Supervising and supporting a team of general laborers and machine operators
Monitoring workflow and making adjustments to meet production goals
Enforcing safety policies and ensuring compliance with company and OSHA standards
Communicating shift reports and maintenance needs to management
What you’ll need:
Previous supervisory or lead experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment (preferred)
Strong leadership and communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, labor-intensive environment
Willingness to work overnight (4 PM – 4 AM) and occasional weekends as needed
