Seeking a Microwave Electronics Test Engineer in Austin, TX

Openwork is currently engaged in a search to find a Microwave Electronics Test Engineer in Austin, TX.  In this role, you will be responsible for developing testing processes for electronic components.

What you’ll be responsible for:

• Developing test processes for RF and DC components
• Utilize test equipment such as multimeters, network and spectrum analyzers, and oscilloscopes
• Read and follow diagrams, schematics, and spec sheets
• Work with components at millimeter and sub-millimeter scales using magnifying equipment
• Building test benches ranging from DC to 110 GHz

What you’ll need:

• Minimum three years of experience with electronics manufacturing, electronics, and RF hardware
• Minimum three years of microwave components testing and repair
• BS Electronic Engineering degree or equivalent experience
• Must be a US citizen
• Selected candidates will be required to pass all prehire employment checks, which may include a criminal background check and drug screening
