Openwork is assisting a client in Atlanta, GA hire for an inside sales representative. 

Job Summary: Account Manager is responsible for generating leads, advancing the sales process, closing new business and achieving/assisting in the achievement of opportunity-based sales quotas. The Inside Sales Representative will conduct research to identify leads and reach business targets through telephone, email and in person. This individual will be responsible for growing the current customer base through service initiatives while actively targeting and opening new accounts.

Duties include but are not limited to this list:

  • Make a minimum of 20 outbound call’s (phone call, email or text) per day that are generated by internal/external sources of lead.

  • Develop sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts and partnering with the Director of Sales to develop an account penetration plan .

  • Identify decision makers within targeted leads to begin the sales process while documenting and tracking results.

  • Penetrate all targeted accounts and radiate sales from within the client base.

  • Collaborate with appropriate team members to determine necessary strategic sales approaches.

  • Write up orders (including all fabrication details), price and see the order through production ensuring quality and accuracy.

  • Return quotes to customers within 24 hours of receipt.

  • Ensure all open quotes are followed up on weekly and track progress through the pipeline.

  • Maintain and expand the company’s database of prospects.

  • Maintain sales margins above standard

  • Ensure follow-up with the person who placed the order with calls-to-action,  shipping dates and invoice.

  • Set up and deliver sales presentations, product/service demonstrations, and other sales actions to better solidify partnerships with key accounts.

  • Where necessary, support marketing efforts such as trade shows, exhibits, and other events.

  • Make outbound follow-up calls to existing clients via telephone and email cross-sell and up-sell.

  • Handle inbound, unsolicited prospect calls and convert into sales. 

  • Overcome objections of prospective customers.

  • Emphasize product/service features and benefits, quote prices, discuss credit terms, and prepare sales order forms and/or reports.

  • Enter new customer data and update changes to existing accounts in the corporate database.

  • Attend periodic sales training and production meetings. 

  • Achieve monthly and quarterly assigned sales goals

  • Responsible for following all company policies and procedures as outlined in the employee handbook.

Direct hire position, Monday - Friday 7 AM - 3:30 PM, base + uncapped commission.
