Qualifications

- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations

Responsibilities 

- The Human Resource Manager will assist in managing the day-to-day operations of the human resources department 

- Responsibilities Manage the day-to-day functions of the human resources department by providing comprehensive support to all faculty and staff members Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations 

- Review policies and procedures to maintain compliance and assists the director with creating and implementing new policies Provide guidance to managers regarding policies, compensation, talent acquisition, employee relations matters, performance management, training and development Act as the first point of contact for employee relations matters and lead investigations Implement employee benefits programs Ensure benefits are administered in compliance with ERISA, ACA, COBRA 

- Prepare and process required plan documents 

- Administer leaves of absence and accommodations Work with director to develop and administer an effective talent acquisition program Assist in developing and implementing a robust onboarding program Conduct and participate in salary surveys, pay evaluations and assists with managing pay structures Assist with leading efforts to ensure employee engagement and retention Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field strongly preferred, but may consider experience in lieu of degree 

Benefits 

- $50,000-75,000 per year
